Where it began
Com.pas was founded in 2007 by Edwin Beekman, who observed from his years of experience that the provision of payroll and payrolling services was too often offered from a standard solution whereas customisation was often desirable because every organisation is different and the wishes of entrepreneurs are quite different.
Many of these services were often offered as additional services by companies to complement their main activities. Here, it was experienced that the specific knowledge was not always present and that the continuity of these specific services was not always guaranteed. The establishment of Com.pas was a fact.
Soon Com.pas grew and our way of working was recognised by our customers. Flexibility, continuity and quality are the core values we uphold. To this day, customers appreciate the accessibility of our staff and the speed with which we respond. This growth was autonomous and was often driven by the ambassadorship of our customers.
At Com.pas, we don’t believe in heavy contracts. If customers are satisfied, they continue to use our services. If not, we ensure a smooth transition to another service provider. Our proactive attitude sets us apart; we offer unsolicited advice where we see areas for improvement for employers and their employees.
In 2012, we further expanded our focus to knowledge migrants by becoming a recognised referent with the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND). This specialisation has continued to develop over the years, and now Com.pas Expat Services is an established name in the Netherlands.
Jeroen Selbach joined Com.pas in 2016 and became co-owner of Com.pas in 2020. With his expertise and the further professionalisation of our services, including reviewing processes with modern techniques and making smart choices in software, we have taken the quality and efficiency of our services to the next level. This has again led to rapid growth of the organisation, and we continue to welcome new clients every month who appreciate our distinctive services.
